Nourishing Power Networking at Rid-All Farm

The Nourishing Power Network will host its first networking event at Rid-All Green Partnership Farm (8129 Otter Ave.) Wednesday, Aug. 31, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This event also will be held in place of the Swetland Center for Environmental Health’s August seminar. 

This event will feature a tour of the farm, a composting workshop and lunch. Lunch will be free for the first 50 registrants. Get more information about the event and register.

About the Nourishing Power Network

The Nourishing Power Network is part of a research study testing ways to transform food systems by bridging community power with organizational power to spark and expand food justice initiatives led by the community.

The goal of the Nourishing Power Networking Events is to build relationships and mobilize the capabilities of food systems leaders and allies. These events will showcase innovations emerging from fellows, advisory council members and fund grantees.
