At the Sept. 28, 2015, meeting, the Faculty Senate approved a new weekly teaching schedule to begin with the fall 2016 semester. Almost all fall and spring semester course time slots will be changed.
Some new features of the new teaching grid will include:
- 15 minutes between each teaching period to allow proper time for travel between classes,
- More options for 75-minute time blocks, and
- Evening time slots.
The new grid is available at case.edu/registrar/registration/timegrid/.
In order to accommodate the new teaching schedule, there also will be a revised final exam schedule, which is available at case.edu/registrar/dates/final-exam-schedule/fall2016/.
The new final exam schedule was constructed to minimize the likelihood of conflicts, given that the total number of teaching time slots has increased from 14 to 18. Some final exams will be scheduled in the evenings.
