This session of the Nonprofit Management and Leadership Series explores the various types of social enterprise and what lessons can be drawn for the future development of organizations that seek to balance social impact with economic success. It will be held Tuesday, Feb. 25, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Noble Commons Lobby of the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences.
The session will be led by Dennis Young, editor (with E.A.M. Searing and C. V. Brewer) of The Social Enterprise Zoo; A Guide for Perplexed Scholars, Entrepreneurs, Philanthropists, Leaders, Investors and Policymakers. Terry Davis, president and CEO of Our Lady of Wayside, will be a guest speaker.
The event is free and open to the public.
