Nominations now are being accepted for this year’s Carl F. Wittke Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching. The Wittke Award, which dates back to 1971, recognizes outstanding undergraduate teaching and honors two individuals each year at Commencement with a plaque and a cash award. Current students and recent alumni are eligible to nominate their favorite faculty. Nominees must have taught during the current academic year.
All nominees will be honored at a reception hosted by President Barbara R. Snyder on April 1, and the final selection of the two winners will be made by a Student Selection Committee composed of students recommended by the chairs of all academic departments in the undergraduate colleges.
Nominations are made online. Visit students.case.edu/awards/wittke/ for more information about the award, past winners and to access the online nomination.
