The Office of Student Activities & Leadership is accepting nominations for the annual Dr. Dorothy Pijan Student Leadership Awards. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to complete the nomination form recognizing outstanding students, programs, organizations and advisors.
To make a nomination, individuals select an award, name a person, program or organization that should be considered for the award, write a short paragraph stating why the nominee is deserving, and answer one or two questions supporting their stance.
The nomination process takes about 10 minutes. The nomination deadline is March 11.

About the awards
Dorothy Pijan created the Student Leadership Awards in 1986 to recognize and honor Case Western Reserve University’s outstanding undergraduate student leaders. Pijan worked at CWRU as the director of Thwing Center and student activities from 1982 to 2003.
Pijan had passion, drive and dedication to student leadership, and was a well-respected and nationally known student union professional. After her death in 2003, the awards were named in her honor to recognize her many contributions to student life at Case Western Reserve University.
