The Center for International Affairs invites members of the Case Western Reserve University community to nominate candidates for the 2021 Global Citizen Awards. The annual awards recognize outstanding individuals and organizations who champion internationalization at CWRU, enhance the international student experience, and exemplify the university’s values of inclusion and diversity.
The awards include:
- International Leader (faculty/staff)
- Unsung Champion (student)
- Spirit of Service (student)
- Laurie D. Zelman International Undergraduate Student
- Elise Lindsay International Graduate Student
- Outstanding Student Organization
- Outstanding Campus Partner in Collaboration
Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to make nominations to help celebrate members of the campus community and their contributions to CWRU.
Completed nominations are due by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, March 26.

The winners will be selected by an anonymous committee and announced during a virtual ceremony Thursday, April 22, at 3 p.m., which will be shared on the Center for International Affairs’ Facebook page.
Following the ceremony, the winners will receive framed certificates and be featured on the center’s website.
