Students are invited to nominate faculty members for the Jessica Melton Perry Award for Distinguished Teaching in Disciplinary/Professional Writing and the SAGES Excellence in Writing Instruction Award by Wednesday, March 18.
The Jessica Melton Perry Award for Distinguished Teaching in Disciplinary/Professional Writing draws attention to faculty instruction and mentoring that enables Case Western Reserve University students to acquire the necessary academic and professional writing skills for their chosen career paths. Regular faculty members in any Case Western Reserve University school or department are eligible.
The SAGES Excellence in Writing Instruction Award is given annually to an instructor in the SAGES program who has demonstrated outstanding commitment to and success in teaching academic writing to CWRU undergraduates. Nominees may be at any rank, from graduate student writing instructor through tenured full professor, but they must have provided substantial writing instruction as part of one or more SAGES seminars during the 2014-2015 academic year.
Nominations for both awards are available online.
