The Women’s and Gender Studies Program at Case Western Reserve University will present a special panel on women’s studies from an international perspective.
The panel discussion will take place Wednesday, March 27, at 4 p.m. in Clark Hall 309 and will be followed by a reception.
The panel will be hosted by Cheryl Toman and Susan Hinze, co-directors of the Women’s and Gender Studies Program at CWRU, and will feature two guest scholars, Raili Marling and Rula Quawas.
Marling is an associate professor and chair of English at the University of Tartu, Estonia. Her research has focused on gender and power in public discourse, literature and popular culture. She founded the Women’s Studies Center at the University of Jordan, serving as its director from 2006 to 2008.
