New maintenance work request system launches Nov. 15

While the university’s transition to a new work order management system won’t be entirely complete until Nov. 15, facilities management leaders encourage those responsible for reporting campus maintenance issues to start using it now.

More information about the move to the new Asset Essentials system— including instructions for using it—is available on the division’s Customer Service webpage.

The new system provides facilities staff additional details regarding requests, as well as easier tracking of them. Those who make the requests also will be able to follow progress in real time. 

The transition from the existing system is expected to be complete by Wednesday, Nov. 15. Existing requests not addressed as of Nov. 15 will move to the new system.
