New eURF for research funding proposals to be implemented; attend information session Nov. 15

The Office of Research Administration will implement a revised electronic University Review Form (eURF) Nov. 19, with a number of enhancements to make it easier to fill out.

A number of suggestions from users around campus were used to update the form, including an HTML version of the initial page for those people who had problems using the Flash version; the ability to have anyone in the system become a PI without having them added to your department; an easier budget section; and a “more” feature for questions that further describe what information is being sought. The form itself retains many of the same elements, so end users should not have a problem with the new form.

Information sessions about the new form are being held with individual schools. There will be an open information session Nov. 15 from noon to 1 p.m. in Sears Library, room 670.
