The Competitive Speech Team will have its first meeting Thursday, Oct. 4, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the House 3A Conference Room (directly behind the Starbucks in the North Residential Village).
The organization offers competition in both interpretive (oratorical/monologues) and debate events in tournaments at other colleges in the Midwest.
All students are welcome to come to the meeting to learn about the organization and the events available for participation. All experience levels are welcome.
Subsequent meetings will occur weekly at the same time and location, in addition to meetings Mondays from 4 to 6 p.m. in Thwing Meeting Room A.
