Neurosciences’ Roberto Fernández Galán talks about first-ever complete model of role serotonin plays in brain

Lack of serotonin can alter brain function and development
Tech Times: Roberto Fernández Galán, assistant professor of neurosciences, talked about the study he led that resulted in the first-ever complete model of the role serotonin plays in the brain. “Our goal in the project was to close the gap in knowledge that exists on role of serotonin in the brain cortex, particularly as it concerns brain circuitry, its electrical activity and function,” he said.
