All are invited to join the Cleveland Functional Electrical Stimulations (FES) Center for the May Neural Prosthesis Seminar featuring guest speaker Vivian Mushahwar, professor with the Division of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation-Department of Medicine at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Mushahwar is the Canada Research Chair (Tier 1) in Functional Restoration and director of the University of Alberta’s Sensory Motor Adaptive Rehabilitation Technology (SMART) Network.
The Neural Prosthesis Seminar Series is a live-streamed and in-person seminar bringing together researchers, clinicians and students for the exchange of scientific information on global emerging neuromodulation and neurostimulation topics.
The upcoming event will take place Thursday, May 16, from noon to 1 p.m. The in-person event will be held in Room 1413 of the Wolstein Research Building, located at 2103 Cornell Rd.
