“Negotiating the Intersection of Queerness and Disability”

The LGBT Center and the Disability Resources Office will host a conversation on the intersection of LGBTQ+ and disabled identities Friday, March 3, from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Tinkham Veale University Center Gaming Room.

Participants will learn the definition of intersectionality, examine the marginalization of disabled people within the LGBTQ community, connect disability and LGBTQ+ pride, identify where differences in accessibility persist, and hear from some of our disabled LGBTQ+ community members regarding their experiences.

This event can be attended in person or via Zoom. Register on CampusGroups to get the link.
