“Nazi Laws: From Democracy to Dictatorship to Genocide”

In recognition of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, the School of Law will host a lecture Thursday, Jan. 27, at 4:30 p.m. in-person and remotely.

Cathy Mansfield, senior instructor of law, will present “Nazi Laws: From Democracy to Dictatorship to Genocide.”

Mansfield will discuss the Nazi Party’s rise to power, the legislative means by which the party and its leader, Adolph Hitler, took the country from the democratic Weimar Republic to the dictatorship it became, the anti-Jewish Nazi laws of the time, and the Nazi court system.
