National Public Health Week

Case Western Reserve University’s Master of Public Health (MPH) program and its student representatives will host a series of events during National Public Health Week (April 4-10). 

The following in-person and virtual events will be held throughout the week:

  • Racism: A Public Health Crisis”: Presentation by Kristina Knight, held virtually Monday, April 4, from 11 a.m. to noon
  • Public Health Workforce​: Essential to our Future“: Panel discussion​, held virtually Tuesday, April 5, from 11 a.m. to noon
  • Community: Collaboration and Resilience”: Gardening day of service​, held Wednesday, April 6, at 1 p.m., at New Life Calvary Church (7820 Euclid Ave.)
  • World Health Day: Health is a Human Right: Cultural gardens tour​ (​self-guided​), held Thursday, April ​7​
  • Accessibility: Closing the Health Equity Gap“: CWRU 2022 Health Care Fair, held Friday, April 8, from 4 to 6 p.m., on Freiberger Field (11169 East Blvd.)
  • “Climate Change: Taking Action for Equity“: Movie screening:​ An Inconvenient Truth, held virtually Saturday, ​Apr​il​ 9, from 4 to 6 p.m.
  • “Mental Wellness: Redefining the Meaning of Health”: Guided mindfulness session, held virtually Sunday, Apr​il​ 10, from 10 to 11 a.m.
