National Employee Appreciation Day offerings include opportunities for self-care

National Employee Appreciation Day—Friday, March 4—at Case Western Reserve University will have a dual focus on self-care and gratitude. In addition to the morning video message from President Kaler and Provost Vinson and the early dismissal at 3 p.m., the university is offering self-care opportunities for staff.

Yoga flow class

10:30 to 11 a.m.

Offered by One to One Fitness, in-person and Zoom options will be available and a recording of the session will be sent to registrants. This class is suitable for all fitness levels.

Participants should register for the class by clicking on the in-person or virtual option and selecting the “CWRU Employee Appreciation Day” pricing option ($0). Those attending in-person should bring their CWRU ID. Yoga mats will be available, attendees also are welcome to bring their own. 

Those who register for the virtual session will be sent a link 45 minutes prior to the class. The recording will be sent shortly after class to those registered and will be viewable for 24 hours.

Gratitude meditation 

11:30 a.m. to noon

The university’s Wellness Program will offer this session. Individuals must register in advance. The Zoom link to the session will be sent prior to 11 a.m. that day.

One to One Fitness Center guest passes
