NAMI on Campus will host its inaugural Mental Health Talent Show Saturday, Oct. 24, at 6 p.m. in the Thwing Center ballroom. NAMI stands for National Alliance on Mental Health.
Dhamakapella, Surf Deer, Speakeasy, Spartan Bhangra, 4upz, Solstice and many others will perform at the talent show.
Information about mental health resources and how to get involved to reduce stigma of mental illness on campus will be provided during the show.
Tickets are $5 for students. To purchase a ticket, go to the USG Organizations section of Tapingo and select the National Alliance of Mental Illness. Tickets also can be purchased at the door before the performance beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Dinner will be provided.
Proceeds will go toward NAMI’s efforts to bring a speaker to campus.
