Members of the Case Western Reserve University community are invited to an interactive conversation with world-class artists Moor Mother, Lonnie Holley, Lee Bains and members of Mourning [A] BLKstar Friday, March 24, from 10:30 a.m. to noon in Clark Hall, Room 206.
AJ Kluth, visiting assistant professor of music, will moderate this discussion about making urgent music that responds to the moment.
This discussion, titled “Musical Challenges and Coalitions,” will be held in tandem with “Toward a Different Kind of Horizon,” a free collective concert Friday, March 24, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Cleveland Museum of Art.
