Music education director William Bauer publishes article on integrating technology in music

William I. Bauer, director of music education and associate professor, had his article, “Grounded Tech Integration Using K–12 Music Learning Activity Types,” published in the November issue of Learning & Leading with Technology, a journal of the International Society for Technology in Education.

Co-authored with Mark Hofer and Judi Harris of the College of William & Mary, the article presents a model for teachers to use when planning creative, performance-oriented, listening, or knowledge-based music learning activities that include technology.
