Come out to Sigma Psi’s annual philanthropy event, Mr. CWRU, Friday, Nov. 18, at 7 p.m. in the Tinkham Veale University Center ballroom.
Held since 1978, Mr. CWRU is a pageant in which men compete in a series of comedic interviews and costume changes. The pageant rewards creativity and wit over beauty and attractiveness.
This year’s theme is “Mr. CWRU: The Musical.”
Proceeds from the event go to the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center (CRCC), which is dedicated to serving survivors of sexual violence—and those who support them—with free, comprehensive healing and advocacy services. The CRCC also creates social change in the community through education, training and activism.
Tickets for the event are $5 and can be purchased in Nord Hall from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Nov. 18.
