Earlier this month, 20 finalist teams participated in the Morgenthaler-Pavey Startup Competition to pitch their ventures, ideas and research to judges. Nine teams were selected for prizes.
Lighthanded Enterprises, which seeks to help doctors diagnose the most common cause of hearing loss in young children, finished first in the Venture Trak, winning $16,000—the largest in the competition. Watch a clip of Lighthanded team lead Brecken Blackburn after winning the grand prize.
