More seating available for special advance screening of “Captain America: Civil War”

CivilWar56e1af999ef83 cropAdditional seating is available to the Case Western Reserve University campus and Cleveland community for the special advance screening of Marvel Studios’ Captain America: Civil War. The screening will be held at 8 p.m. Monday, May 2, at the Milton and Tamar Maltz Performing Arts Center at The Temple­–Tifereth Israel.

Tickets for $15 and $25 (preferred seating) are available online at case.edu/maltzcenter/events/tickets.

On-site parking is $7. Free shuttles will be available from 6:30 to 11:30 p.m. from the Tinkham Veale University Center (Bellflower Road) or Adelbert Road (in front of the Biomedical Research Building walkway).

Wednesday’s limited advance sale of discounted tickets to Case Western Reserve students sold out within hours.

The film’s directors, brothers Joe and Anthony Russo, who were graduate students at Case Western Reserve when they began directing, writing and producing in 1997, will return to campus and their hometown to introduce the special screening as a fundraiser for Phase Two of the Maltz Performing Arts Center renovation.

The next chapter in Marvel’s Captain America saga, which adapts the tale of the comic book Super Hero to the big screen, opens nationally on May 6.
