The Employee Wellness Program will host its monthly free cooking demonstration March 27, noon-1 p.m., in Nord Hall 310. This month, the topic is “Simple 600,” during which Bon Appetit chefs will discuss ways to keep food delicious while keeping calories, fat and sodium levels down. Plus, the chefs will provide samples of the food.
Bon Appetit offers the “Simple 600” plan at the Biomedical Research Building, which offers dishes that are less than or equal to 600 calories, 20 grams of fat, 5 grams of saturated fat and 600 milligrams of sodium.
