Modern Languages and Literatures’ Linda C. Ehrlich speaks in Israel on Japanese traditions

Linda C. Ehrlich, associate professor of in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures, was invited to speak at the Performing Japanese Traditions conference at Tel Aviv University in Israel.

The conference, which was held in June, featured the topic “Temporal and Spatial Reconsideration of Dramatics, Poetics and Ritual Practices.”

Ehrlich joined scholars from the United States, Canada, Europe, Japan and Israel to investigate Japanese traditions in performance.
