The 2021 MLK Convocation was held as a virtual event Friday, Feb. 5. Individuals who missed the convocation, or who would like to watch it again, can now view it online (SSO required). The video will only be available until April 15.
The event featured campus diversity updates from Robert Solomon, vice president for the Office for Inclusion, Diversity and Equal Opportunity, along with keynote remarks from Heather McGhee, a public policy expert who designs and promotes solutions to inequality in America. McGhee’s new book, The Sum of Us: What Racism Costs Everyone and How We Can Prosper Together, is now available.
