The Middle Eastern Cultural Association (MECA) will host a belly-dancing clinic on Monday, Oct. 6, from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Wade Pioneer Room.
This clinic, taught by professional belly dancer Ameera Paone, is perfect for anyone, male or female, wants to learn the popular Arabic dance. Coined belts will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
Following the belly-dancing lesson, there will be a lesson at 7 p.m. on the traditional “dabke” step dance, taught by MECA members.
