Middle and high school students to participate in Classics Day Sept. 27

On Friday, September 27, the third annual Classics Day at CWRU and the Cleveland Museum of Art will welcome middle and high school students from across Northeast Ohio to University Circle for a day of ancient Greek- and Roman-themed activities, including museum tours, hands-on sessions with real ancient artifacts, a visit to CWRU’s Special Collections library, a make-your-own Roman clothing workshop, and much more!

School groups interested in registering for this free event (lunch provided!) should complete the registration form by September 18. For questions, please contact Dr. Evelyn Adkins in the CWRU Department of Classics (ewa5@case.edu).

This year’s event is generously supported by the CWRU Department of Classics and the Baker-Nord Center for the Humanities, the Cleveland Museum of Art, and a Classics Everywhere grant from the Society for Classical Studies.
