The Professional Development Center in the Department of Human Resources invites staff to participate in a focus group about staff mentoring and what it means to them Thursday, Oct. 18, at 2 p.m. at the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, Room 238.
The focus group will provide an opportunity for staff to meet individuals from various departments on campus and give insight on their thoughts about a potential staff-mentoring program. In particular, the center would like to know:
- Expectations or goals for mentoring;
- Types of things participants wish to be exposed to; and
- Preference in selecting a mentor.
The focus group is expected to last no longer than an hour and a half.
Those who are interested can register online for the focus group.
