The Greek Life office will host a Mental Health First Aid Training session Saturday, Nov. 14, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Mental Health First Aid teaches participants how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders.
This training is in two parts, an independent portion lasting approximately two hours and a five and a half hour live virtual session. This six and a half-hour training gives adults the skills they need to reach out and provide initial support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care.
