MEM student Henry Pérez De Jesus receives Richards Fellowship

Henry Pérez De Jesus, a student in the Master of Engineering and Management program, was recently named the winner of this year’s Richards Fellowship.

Donald J. Richards (CIT ‘79, MGT ’81), a retired managing director at Accenture and member of the university’s Board of Trustees, endowed the annual fellowship to help provide students with financial assistance to defray the cost of tuition and to give them coaching and guidance for their future careers.

In addition to mentorship from Richards, Pérez De Jesus will receive a $10,000 grant.

Pérez De Jesus recently graduated from Case Western Reserve University in May with a bachelor’s degree in chemical and biomolecular engineering, and expects to complete the MEM program this coming spring.

Pérez De Jesus is interning at Cleveland-based battery startup Octet Scientific.
