On Thursday, April 4, the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences will present the next installment of its Book and Author Series featuring Richey Piiparinen and Anne Trubek, co-editors of Rust Belt Chic: The Cleveland Anthology.
Rust Belt Chic: The Cleveland Anthology provides an inside-out snapshot of the city, containing contributions by established authors and newcomers alike. Put together, these stories create a new narrative about Cleveland that incorporates and expands the familiar tropes about manufacturing, stadiums and comebacks. Contributors include Connie Schultz, Roldo Bartimole, Jim Rokakis and Susan Grimm.
Enjoy an engaging dialogue with the authors from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in the Mandel School.
Admission is free, but registration is required. Social workers and counselors can earn 1.5 CEUs for $25.
