Meet famed chef, food writer and Cleveland native Michael Ruhlman at library event

Michael RuhlmanKelvin Smith Library is gearing up for Octavofest, an annual celebration of the book and paper arts, with a presentation by internationally known food writer, author and chef Michael Ruhlman. A Cleveland native, Ruhlman has been a judge on television shows such as “Next Iron Chef” and “Iron Chef America” as well as a featured guest on “Anthony Bourdain’s No Reservations.”

A book signing by Ruhlman will follow his presentation. One of his books, Ruhlman’s Twenty, will be available for purchase.

Food samples from the following local restaurants also will be available:

The event will be held Friday, Sept. 28, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Kelvin Smith Library.
