The Wall Street Journal: Rachel Weinerman, clinical assistant professor at the School of Medicine, cautioned that increases in privately held fertility treatment providers—thanks to growing demand—come with potential issues, including concerns about proper training. “The pace of fellowship growth has not met demand,” she said. “What we have seen in the past few years is a significant increase in the demand for infertility services, generally, and in-vitro fertilization, specifically.”
