The New York Times: Britton Sauerbrei, assistant professor in the Department of Neurosciences at the School of Medicine, praised a new study estimating the human brain’s information flow at 10 bits per second, calling its findings on conscious tasks “airtight.” However, he noted that including unconscious processes like walking could reveal much higher rates, highlighting gaps in understanding brain efficiency.
