The American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology named William Merrick, professor in the Department of Biochemistry at the School of Medicine, one of 30 members in its first class of fellows.
The fellows were selected for their contributions to research, teaching and mentoring, or other forms of service. The class was honored at the society’s annual meeting last month.
