The Guardian: Rong Xu, professor at the School of Medicine, discussed a recent preprint study she led on the rising number of cases of liver damage in children and the possible link to COVID-19. “Children with COVID have a significantly higher risk” of abnormal liver function, said Xu. “For this study, we just found the association” of COVID and liver issues, she said.
