Gonorrhea becoming resistant to last available class of antibiotics
The Plain Dealer: Gonorrhea, the second most commonly reported infectious disease in the U.S., is becoming resistant to the last class of antibiotics available to treat it. The bacteria that causes gonorrhea is notoriously good at adapting to avoid being wiped out, said Robert Bonomo, professor of medicine.
