Medicine’s Robert Bales, Trygve Dolber talk about risks of increased alcohol use

Robert Bales and Trygve Dolber, assistant professors at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, talked about the risks of increased alcohol use and the impact on heart health on Cardi-OH Radio’s podcast, “Addressing Unhealthy Alcohol Use: Strategies for Primary Care.”

In the podcast, Bales and Dolber discussed screening tools and gave advice on how to talk with patients about alcohol use, including primary care interventions. Bales and Dolber were interviewed by Rosellen Roche, from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Case Western Reserve University is the lead institution for Cardi-OH, a statewide initiative of healthcare professionals at Ohio’s seven medical schools who share knowledge to improve Medicaid patient outcomes and eliminate health disparities across Ohio.
