Medicine’s Peter Bajic weighs in when to be concerned by frequent nighttime bathroom breaks

Peter Bajic, assistant professor at the School of Medicine, wrote an opinion piece published by The Washington Post that explored night time bathroom breaks.

Bajic said waking up once to urinate usually isn’t a cause for concern, but anything beyond that may be worth looking into.

His piece, titled “Ask a Doctor: Why do I pee so much at night?” lists the causes of nighttime urination also known as nocturia.
