Parameswaran Ramakrishnan, associate professor of pathology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, received an award from JDRF, an organization dedicated to type 1 diabetes research.
Ramakrishnan was selected for a $600,000 strategic research agreement award, the second such award he has received from the organization.
