Matthias Buck, professor of physiology and biophysics at the School of Medicine, was invited to write the president’s column, “Under the Microscope,” for the Protein Society’s September newsletter.
His piece, titled “Beyond hype and fear: Some Thoughts on the Impact of AI/ChatGPT on Research, Education and Society,” explored limitations of ChatGPT from various perspectives and applications.
