Orlando Sentinel: Mark Cameron, associate professor at the School of Medicine, said that unanswered questions about COVID-19 shouldn’t undermine trust in science. “You start with a hypothesis, you test the hypothesis. The scientific process is actually built on trial and error, but that doesn’t undermine its importance,” he said. “We’re in a much better position now than we ever were in controlling the virus … because of those trials and tribulations and because of the failures we’ve had, mainly by dropping our guard way too early.”
