HealthMark Cameron, associate professor at the School of Medicine, recommended that people stay up to date on their COVID boosters and practice other precautionary measures to stay healthy as a new variant makes the rounds. “It’s causing nearly a third of new cases in the U.S., and it’s very likely to be the dominant variant with us through the holidays,” he said.
