Lina Mehta, associate dean for admissions at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, was recently appointed to serve a three-year term as chair of the National Committee on Admissions (COA).
The National Committee on Admissions functions as an advisory committee to the Group on Student Affairs Steering Committee and to the Association of American Medical Colleges. As chair of the COA, Mehta will lead the committee in discussing current policy and procedural issues with national medical school admissions.
