19 Action News: A team of researchers recently received a $3.3 million grant to learn more about the cells behind the eye, which is where most eye diseases originate. “If you can monitor something that changes over time then you can think of therapy that can prevent those changes,” lead researcher Krzysztof Palczewski, the John H. Hord Professor and chair of the Department of Pharmacology, said.
