Prostate cancer screening is better than originally thought, especially for Black men, study says

CNN: Jonathan Shoag, assistant professor at the School of Medicine, discussed a new study that shows the importance of early prostate cancer screenings. “There are many men who are not screened a lot and we’re seeing men diagnosed with more aggressive disease because they weren’t screened,” Shoag said. “This study shows that the tradeoffs of screening are really beneficial.”
