Trump’s HIV plan calls for extra resources for Cuyahoga County

ideastream: After President Donald Trump announced plans to end the United States’ HIV epidemic by 2030, Jonathan Karn, the Reinberger Professor of Molecular Biology, chair of the Department of Molecular Biology and Microbiology, and director of the Center for AIDS Research, explained how the goal is possible to achieve from a medical perspective. Kristin Englund, clinical assistant professor at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, weighed in on logistical challenges to accomplishing the goal, such as reaching high-risk patients.
