WKSU: Jerry Silver, professor of neurosciences, is leading testing on how nerve cells regrow after a spinal cord injury. His research is restoring urinary function in animal models, which is “very, very important to people who have been paralyzed for long periods of time.” Graduate students Brad Lang and Amanda Tran also play key roles in the research.
