Jason Chao, professor of family medicine and community health, was selected for the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine 2021 Research Paper of the Year Award.
Chao is a co-author of the study “Contributions of US Medical Schools to Primary Care (2003-2014): Determining and Predicting Who Really Goes Into Primary Care,” published in the journal Family Medicine.
The Society of Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM) recognized a research paper published by an STFM member in a peer-reviewed journal between July 1, 2019, and June 30, 2020 for the STFM Research Paper of the Year award. Chao will be recognized at the STFM Annual Spring Conference in May 2021.
